Current mood: cheerful

Have the school's Illuminative Wards been renewed within the last year? It's never been a problem, but I find myself having to revise in front of the fire or - Merlin forbid - by wandlight. Those seem less vivid than I would expect, as well, not quite as impressive as the way they will often set the Hufflepuff Common Room glittering cheerfully. How peculiar.

I would also like to detract 8 points from Mister Creevey (the older), for making light of a dire situation. Shame on you, child, for making such a poor example for your fellow Gryffindors.

My birthday was almost four weeks ago, I am no longer fifteen.

Somehow I thought it wasn't for another eight months. I suppose I'm not good at keeping track of the ages of younger years.

You were not properly alarmed at the news of Thomas' disappearance. How very unGryffindor of you! And you are younger than me, therefore I am right in my estimation of your age. That's another four points for being contrary.

But!!!

Shouldn't he get points for saving me from a life at the bottom of the lake??? Not that the merpeople weren't interesting and not that poor Deanie isn't important as well, but it took a lot of bottle for Colin to face the wrath of that squid!

Fifteen hundred points to Gryffindor for Lavender surviving over four months of a harrowing lake-bottom experience and still coming out of it ready to defend others! The epitome of chivalry! Well done, Lav, well done!

Ernie, didn't Anthony say we prefects can't take points from each other? If you're going to violate the rule, I'm going to have to as well.

Fifteen points from Hufflepuff. You are abusing your position and being ageist to someone who is almost a legal adult.

I am only basing this upon what you did say on the journals, in responce to Finnigan's post that Thomas were missing.

However, if it will appease every person who feels that I am in the wrong, I'll aware Gryffindor 16 points for.. vehemence. Are you appeased?

Aside from what I already said, what's gotten into you, Ernie, to make you be so usually rude to people? Is it just the Illuminative Wards issue? Is it something you ate?

I agree, it was quite dodgy.

I wonder if the house elves are reacting so much to Winky's disappearance that their cooking has slipped?

I don't think that I am being rude to anybody, it's simply that I stand for something. In this case, that being my superiority over much of the student population.
